Q
Quantitative Analysis: What it actually means?
Quantitative analysis is the use of mathematical, statistical and modelling techniques to turn raw data into insight that management can act on. Consultants define the business question, assemble and clean data, choose appropriate methods (regression, optimisation, time series, Monte Carlo), and present results in a way non-specialists can understand. This allows organisations to price better, forecast more accurately, optimise inventories, evaluate risk and assess investments on a comparable basis. The value lies in making decisions less subjective and more repeatable, especially in volatile environments.
