Middle East consultancy firm ValuStrat expanded its presence in the United Kingdom by acquiring a stake in Capital Value Surveyors, a London-based firm specialised in real estate advisory services.
The deal sees three directors and a team of consultants affiliate with ValuStrat’s British network, in a move that comes three after years after the Dubai-headquartered group entered the UK market with the purchase of Capital Chartered Surveyors.
“The UK remains one of the most well-established real estate markets globally and one that is consistently of interest to international investors. We are pleased to develop our presence there further, to better serve all our clients, both in the UK and the Middle East,” said Declan King, a Managing Director at ValuStrat.
Established in 2018, Capital Value Surveyors provides survey and valuation advice on residential and commercial properties in London and the South East of England. The firm specialises in work for financial services sector clients, ranging from banks, specialist lenders, private funds and other financial institutions. Annually the team values assets worth around £3 billion in total, delivering over 3,000 valuation reports.
Capital Value Surveyors will now work closely with fellow London-based Capital Chartered Surveyors, and for cross border work, with ValuStrat’s team across the Middle East and Pakistan.
“We are excited to partner with such a dynamic team in the next phase of our UK growth story. There is a strong nexus between the United Kingdom and the Middle East and through Capital Value, we aim to meet the growing demands of our client base in the UK and Europe,” said ValuStrat’s Group CEO, Shahid Kazi.
Meanwhile, for Capital Value Surveyors, the joining of forces will help the firm provide its clients with enhanced capabilities and resources” and help it “continue its growth trajectory”, said Directors Marilyn Connell, Sean Mansfield and Simon Jackson. “Their expertise and established infrastructure will help us deliver synergies and we are looking forward to exploring the various areas of collaboration.”
Founded in 1977, ValuStrat is one of the Middle East’s leading consulting firms in the real estate sector, providing strategic advisory, valuations, research, and transaction services. The firm also provides a suite of services to clients in other sectors.
