Q
Quality Assurance: What it actually means?
Quality assurance (QA) is the proactive set of activities designed to prevent defects and service failures before they reach the customer, rather than just detecting them afterwards. Consultants review design, procurement, production or service-delivery processes to identify where errors originate, define acceptance criteria and test plans, and implement controls such as supplier qualification, stage-gate reviews or automated checks. Training and clear documentation are part of the solution. Effective QA lowers warranty and rework costs, protects brand and strengthens customer satisfaction, especially in regulated or safety-critical industries.
