Q
Quality Management Systems: What it actually means?

Quality management systems (QMS) provide the structure of policies, processes, controls and records that ensure products and services consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. Consultants review current practices against standards such as ISO 9001, map key processes, define responsibilities and documentation, and install monitoring and internal audit routines. They also train teams so quality becomes embedded, not just a compliance exercise. A sound QMS reduces defects, rework and customer complaints, and often enables entry into more demanding markets or supply chains. It also gives management better visibility of where quality risks sit.
